Senator House is a Category A part occupied office refurbishment inclusive of a full refurbishment to occupied floors, roof top, plant, creation of roof top terraces and external amenity space and over-cladding to the Queen Victoria Street and Cleary Gardens elevations.
The 19 month project includes the creation of an ancillary entrance, new cycle storage provision and re-configuration of the atrium space. The public realm was also landscaped to enhance the arrival experience to the building.
In addition, Paragon completed a pre-planning sustainability statement and a pre-contract development sustainability review for the redevelopment of this office building. Assessing factors such as energy performance, waste / recycling volumes, water usage, health / wellbeing and site management against benchmarks such as BREEAM, Well Building Standard, Considerate Construction Scheme and EPC.
Once the sustainability targets were agreed by the client and design team, Paragon monitored progress throughout the development to completion of the scheme.
