My career history:

• Joined WSP as an Associate director after working for a few smaller design practices
• Joined Watts as an Associate Director of M&E in 2008
• Joined Paragon in 2015

My career highlight:

Surveying some of the most iconic buildings in London including The Gherkin, Heron Tower and the Royal Albert Hall. Travel all over the UK and Europe.

What keeps me motivated:

I enjoy surveying buildings and gaining an understanding of how they have been designed and the variety that provides. I never suffer from that Sunday night dread of work.

What I do differently:

Because I enjoy my work I approach every survey with enthusiasm and a determination to undertake the survey thoroughly and to the best of my ability.   

What keeps me busy at the weekend:

I love spending time with my family and have three children aged seven, 10 and 16.  I love all sports and in particular scuba diving, skiing and golf although since having children my participation in these activities has been severely curtailed.

My favourite food:

Lebanese, Thai or Indian cuisine or anything spicy or a good steak.

My favourite eatery:

Langan’s Brasserie, Noura.

My favourite drink:

Guinness or red wine in winter and cider or a chilled rose wine in summer. A variety of other beers and wines during the temperate seasons.

My favourite travel destination:

Greek Islands, Maldives and Barry Island.

Not many people know this about me:

I share a hobby with a character played by Mackenzie Crook.
